The outdoor hockey season (including training) for seniors and juniors has been postponed indefinitely so we can all concentrate on the necessary social distancing to reduce the impact of the coronavirus. Hockey Australia and School Sport Australia have also cancelled all national championships for the year and Hockey ACT have cancelled their junior regional program.

We appreciate this is disappointing and we are all facing an incredibly tough period over the next few months as we try to contain this virus.

Hockey Australia's priority this year is to get our community hockey up and running as soon as possible so if we can get a few games in this year, that would be awesome.

In order to be ready to get our teams on the field once we get the all clear and to keep in touch during the next few months, we have set up a separate registration category for expressions of interest for the 2020 season (whatever that may look like).

If you have not registered for the season yet and are still keen to play when we do get a start, please register via our website https://www.westshockeyact.org/registration/ under either the Juniors EOI Post-COVID 19 or Seniors EOI Post-COVID 19 categories (obviously depending on age).
