Return to Hockey 2020

Published Mon 08 Jun 2020

Wests is getting back into hockey for 2020!

The Capital League squad have been back on the field training for the last couple of weeks and we have been testing out our COVID-safe processes on them - things seem to be ok!

This week we return to our usual training times but we will be gradually introducing each group back to training as there is a bit of admin involved in putting the proper protocols in place. The restrictions were lifted further at the end of last week so we will continue with CL squad training only this week to test the changes out. We will aim to have the SL1 and SL2 mens teams to join training from 16 June, the Wests women from 23 June and the juniors to start on 30 June.

The Wests return to training framework is  here - Wests Return to Training 2020 Framework

The most important thing is that all our players are properly registered before attending their first training session.
