Due to the current COVID situations in Victoria and NSW, there has been no further lifting of restrictions in relation to hockey and the ban on spectators will remain in place for the time being. HACT have issued updated Return to Play Guidelines which will apply from 12 noon on Friday 24 July 2020. Venue maps for all fields (now including Willows for the U11 competition) are also included on the HACT website (under the Return to Play Guidelines), outlining team gathering points and field entry and exits. We have also updated our club Return to Play Guidelines to take into account recent developments so please make sure you stay up to date with the restriction situation.

We have been asked by HACT to remind everyone of the following:

• Arrivals and Departure time allowances must be strictly adhered to:
  • SENIORS: No individual should arrive prior to the commencement of the game prior to their match and all players are required to leave before the end of the game immediately following their match. Eg. Players will have a maximum 4 ½ hour window to be present at the facility.
  • JUNIORS: No individual should arrive more than 30min’s prior to the commencement of their game. Participants and parents/guardians are asked to leave the centre within 15mins of the conclusion of the game. It is important to remind all players that they should be arriving ready to play. Eg. Players will have a maximum 1 ¾ hour window to be present at the facility.
  • U11s & HOOKIN2HOCKEY: No individual should arrive more than 10 minutes prior to their designated game or session start time. Participants and parents/guardians are asked to leave the centre within 5mins of the conclusion of their game or session. Eg. Players will have a maximum 1 ¼ hour window to be present at the facility.
• If you are unwell do not attend any games or training
• If you have been advised to self-isolate, been to Victoria in the past 14 days, been in a known hot spot in NSW in the past 14 days please do not attend any matches regardless if you are a player or parent/guardian
• No spectators allowed - With the exception of ONE (1) parent/guardian for juniors, as above. Parents/guardians attending games need to notify the team manager so they can be recorded on our team attendance sheet for the game.
• Change rooms remain closed
• Correct use of pitch exit and entry points at all times
• Limit your time within Hockey ACT facilities
• Keep walk-ways and thoroughfares clear at all times
• No gathering within Hockey ACT indoor facilities, rooms, corridors etc. People can only be indoors to use toilets or go to the café.
• Remember your personal hand sanitiser
• Follow ACT Government social distancing and hygiene guidelines at all times
